The New School tries to suppress teach-in

Students at The New School held a teach-in today which the university attempted to stop with threats of disciplinary action. Despite this the teach-in continued all afternoon until the students left to attend a rally in support of the suspended students at NYU.

Students at The New School, who held an occupation last year, are campaigning for the removal of the President of the New School - Bob Kerrey, the treasurer of the board of trustees - Robert B. Millard and executive vice president - James Murtha.
