Nottingham academics have issued a statement of support for the occupation clarifying that it is their right to protest they support and not every demand or comment they have made.
It is important to remember that we have every right to protest peacefully and we should not be dissuaded on charges that we have caused interruption to normality. The issues we protest on have caused far more pain and suffering than a peaceful protest could.
