Nottingham managed to get the power back on and are continuing the occupation over the weekend. Their stalwart MP Alan Simpson has sent another message of support. There are more podcasts to listen to at Riseup Radio about the occupation. They’ve got some advice on how to help and you can email the Director of Student Operations & Services Division at stephen.dudderidge@nottingham.ac.uk or the Vice-Chancellor at david.greenaway@nottingham.ac.uk to express your support of the protest and highlight the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Although they’ve effectively been shut in for the weekend their spirits are high and the 47 or so occupiers are working together and trying to keep decision making as democratic as possible. They have a weekend of events over the weekend and would welcome visits from other campaigns, the media and the public.
Well done guys - keep up the good work.
