Cambridge forced into leaving

Cambridge ended their occupation today at 11am. Their demands were not met. They suffered intimidation at the hands of the university - who used tactics such as threatening them with legal action and photographing them.
Well done Cambridge for sticking it out so long. Keep us informed of the next step on your blog.

LSE called for a demonstration against Colonel Geva Rapp - the head of the ground operations in Gaza tonight at 6pm to watch out for reports on that. There is an interesting comment on their blog about the potential prosecution of Israeli war leaders.

Earlier today the occupiers at Nottingham faced a demonstration of people supporting Israeli actions.
Tomorrow Alan Simpson, MP for Nottingham South, will be in room B62 at 1.30pm to talk about the “recent Israeli actions in Gaza, the Nottingham student occupation and the importance of the right to protest in itself”.
